- It is generally recommended to go with at least a 450 watt power supply for a dedicated graphics card. Newegg.com has a great reference tool to see what size power supply you'll need to run your system. Here's the link: http://educations.newegg.com/tool/psucalc/index.html. All you have to do is input your system hardware and they tell you the minimum amount of power you'll need! Otherwise, to more accurately answer your question, could you post your system hardware? - yeah, it will be fine. the 9250 is an old AGP card so it wont need alot of power. 300w will be ok, unless you're running quadcore with 5 hard drives, which i dont think you are!!
