Graphics Upgrade

How to upgrade a graphics card memory?

Ok, I have a laptop that has a pretty good graphics card, Nvidia 8400, but the video memory is kinda low. The installed video memory is 128mb, but the available memory is 895. Is there a way to upgrade the video memory, without having to buy a new graphics card? I like the Nvidia 8400, but not the amount of installed video memory. To be specific, I want my laptop to have 256mb of video memory instead of 128mb. Thanks

  1. no .. but if its shared memory u can sometimes change the value in the bios settup ... and u wont be able to upgrade the card in a laptop either .. and to be perfectly honest the amount of video memory only effects a games performance negligibly .. its almost all in the graphic cards chip speed and number of pipelines ..
