Graphics Upgrade

Switch from my integrated graphics card to my ATI graphics card?

I have both in my computer, I'm currently using my integrated graphics card...I opened my case and saw that I had a ATI graphics card too..I just got this computer from a friend. How can I check the specs of the graphics card and then switch to it? I checked the Device Manager, it didn't say anything about the ATI GFX card.

1. Look in bios for a setting to shut off onboard graphics. Then run dxdiag from the run box and it will show what video card it is then go to ati and get the driver
