What does the red light indicate on an ati graphics card?

What Does the red light next to the 6 pin pci power connector on an Ati X1950 xt Graphics Card Mean, as i have been getting it recently, but disappears once i reboot the machine, i don't think it means it isn't getting enough power, because it running high end games fine at very high fps, and not crashing or reboots, The Graphics Card Is an HIS ATI Radeon X1950xt iturbo IceQ3, it isnt overheating, it is sitting at 55 degrees and under load goes up to 82 degrees. and the fan is always runing, it is never off,

1. What brand and model of card is it? The ATI X1950 XT is just the name of the processor (GPU) ON the card. Could it mean that the card is overheating? Or that the card's fan is on?
