Can a PC with an ATI Graphics card be updated to one with a nVidia graphics card?
...or do you have to upgrade to another ATI Graphics card?

- You can always put in a PCI-express Nvidia card to replace your ATI card. (Desktop, not laptop that is)
- Generally, Yes. You can use any graphics card with the proper slot. AGP to any AGP PCI-E to any PCI-E
- If you have PCI or PCIe expansion slots then you can upgrade to any video card you want
- As long as the card is compadible with the slot you plan to stick it in. I had an nVidia 5200 in my old computer and put in a much nicer ATI with no probs what so ever.
