How should I set my settings for my ati graphics card in order to have the least lag in games?

For the color quality setting, should I set it to Medium (16-bit) or High (32-bit)? Which setting will make my gaming experience smoother?

1. Medium (16-bit) should provide you with less lag than with High(32-bit). Setting your other settings to low/lowest with a lower resolution also helps. The game MAY run smoother (if you have a older graphics card it may or may not help...the card might be just too old) but the game(s) may be a little dull, less enjoyable.
