Graphics Upgrade

How can I upgrade the graphics on my PC?

I only have Radeon xpress 200. I need GeForce FX 5900 or Radeon 9500 at the very least, because I want to get The Sims 3. How can I upgrade the graphics on my computer?

  1. You can upgrade your graphics by updating to a better graphics card!
  2. The video card is a physical component inside your computer that attaches to your motherboard. Take out the one you have and put the other one in.
  3. go to best buy and buy a graphics card and buy some more ram
  4. (assuming that you have a Desktop) get a new graphics card, go to Tigerdirect.com or Newegg.com and search, or (after making sure your motherboard is compatible) head to a Best Buy or similar electronics outlet and look for a good card for you. Otherwise(good for Desktops and Laptops) upgrade your RAM(Random Access Memory), this can make loading of all files quicker. *ps. if you have Vista and only 1 Gig of RAM or less(upgradeable on PC's to 4 and Laptops to 2-4) trhen you'll want to upgrade RAM anyway, Vista requires 1g to basically run itself, so everything is running straight off of your drive(s)/card(s) and making your computer work itself too hard*
  5. View Sims 3 minimum and recommended system requirements and compare it with your system specification than upgrade your hardware u can also use this site to see if your system can run Sims 3 the site wil analyze ur system and let u know if can run the game or not http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/referrer/srl
