How to upgrade graphics card?

The message "Upgrade your Display Adapter This problem occurred because your video card doesn't support the required version of DirectX. This version of Windows requires a video card that supports DirectX 9.0 or newer." My graphic card is S3 graphics inc. savage4 Any help people on I can update this i've search google but no help.
