Graphics Upgrade

i have a ATI integrated graphics card on my PC will this be a problem?

i am looking at buying a Nvidia Geforce 8600 GT 256MB however i think my dell inspiron 530 has a integrated graphics card which is a ATI 2400 HD, will i have any problems putting the Nvidia Geforce 8600 GT 256MB and will it work? please ansear! thanks!

  1. u can't change a Integrated card ----means it is made into the mother board as one unit ----when will u people get it ---u have a laptop not a desktop
  2. Provided that you have a PCI-e slot for the 8600...the type of Integrated card doesn't matter as you need to disable it during the instalation process of the 8600...
