Can i upgrade the graphics on my Toshiba laptop?
I have a Toshiba Satellite A216-S7422 with 1GB RAM and ATI Radeon X1200 graphics card, and I was wondering if its possible to upgrade my graphics card. My friend said that my graphics card is not integrated in the motherboard so he said that it's possible. How would I do this? I am also wondering if I do upgrade the graphics, would I have to do upgrade anything in addition? Such as my processor or RAM?

- you cant, the graphics card is Integrated into the motherboard meaning you will need a complete new motherboard with a different graphics card, PC's you can replace cuz their not Integrated, their seperate
- Ram you can upgrade. If your looking to rip out your processor and replace it the cost is more than the cost of just buying a new laptop, same on the graphics card. Although you have a "dedicated" graphics card it is soldered to the motherboard, so unless you want to take a soldering iron to your computer it seems your looking to buy a new one. Best of luck
