Graphics Upgrade

How do I upgrade my graphics driver?

I'm running Windows XP Home Edition, and I'm trying to upgrade my graphics card drivers. I have an ATI Mobility FireGL V5250, and my laptop is a Lenovo Thinkpad T60p. I went to the ATI website and checked under the FireGL upgrade available for XP, and my driver wasn't listed on there. Can anyone tell me how to upgrade it?

  1. It's the same driver (unified driver) for all FireGL graphics cards, and your card is part of the 5200 series, just a variation (5250) so the 5200 driver is the same for yours. Plus, all the FireGL card models link to the same FireGL unified driver anyway, regardless of model number. here's the link: http://ati.amd.com/support/drivers/xp/fireglv-xp.html
  2. How to get the latest drivers available, you can first try windows update (start menu / all programs / windows update, the web site of your system manufacturer, and the Ati site for amd based chipset video cards / Asus for Ati video card s made by them...hope this Help
  3. If you have CD downloder ,Re-install program and then Install it again.
