Graphics Upgrade

Is it possible to upgrade my graphics card on my laptop?

I currently have an HP Pavilion zd8000 laptop. I've recently upgraded my ram from 1 gig to 2 gigs and I was wondering if there is any possible way that I can upgrade the graphics card on this laptop. If there isn't any way to upgrade the graphics card, are there any suggestions to improve the card's output/performance? If so, please tell me how it's done. 1. of course, you can do it
  2. Of course you can but it is such a hassle. You must rip apart your case, sometimes even your keyboard, access the pci-e port remove your old graphics card, install the new one. Put it all back together. It takes a lot of patience, you should really get a professional to handle this one.
  3. on a laptop not so much. basically all you can do, since most laptop video cards are integrated into the motherboard, is allot more memory to the card from your system memory to get a little bit better performance. this is usually done via the system BIOS settings.
  4. yes.but i dont know how . it definately is possible get the graphics card that will fit in your computer
  5. 99% of the time you cannot upgrade your graphics card on a laptop. Many are integrated cards that are impossible to upgrade and even the dedicated cards are not easily upgraded without replacing the motherboard.
