How many games will only work with an ATI graphics card and how many with an Nvidia graphics card? I have seen a few games that will only run with an Nvidia graphics card and I have seen a few games that will only run with an ATI graphics card. About how many games are like this and what are they?

My monitor turns off when I set the graphics card ATI X1550 to anything higher than basic VGA mode. Any ideas? The screen first goes blank as if its to apply new settings, and then it turns off after about 5 seconds. It's a new system I've put together. How to increase memory for ATI X1200 graphics card? hey y'all, i just got a new toshiba A215-S7444 laptop with a 1.9Ghz AMD Turion 64 X2 processor, 2GB DDR2 RAM, ATI X1200 and a lotta gud stuffs. You see, I was happy getting this baby cos of one thing...the graphics memory has an onboard 128MB and can share up to 703MB from the system giving it a total of about 831 worth of memory. Now I installed Halo 2 for Vista and guess what?...it runs so horrible that I can barely type or move anything! The system says my graphic card memory size is 831MB but also says that my system memory is 1.8GB. I know that if it's really sharing it, I should be left with about 1.2GB of system memory. Does anyone know anything about this? How can I manually share my system memory? Oh yea...I already tried using the BIOS menu and the setting is not there. Is this a known issue? Am running Vista Home Premium. Does anyone know anything about this or is it just me? Thanks...

The computer I am currently looking at comes with an ATI Radeon HD 3450 card with 256MB graphics memory. Does this graphics card work well with this game?

I want to know where I can buy a ATI Radeon Graphics Card. One thats good for World of Warcraft and not lag.? I currently have ATI Radeon x1250 on my laptop. I need to buy a better ATI Radeon Graphics card, so while i'm playing WoW, it won't be laggy at all.

Does anyone know what that chip is on the back of all ATI Graphics Cards? on ati cards you have a chip on the back of the board opersite from the cooler and stuff. it has a thing covering it but the center of the chip is uncovered. shal i put a thermal strip on it and then put a VGA memory cooler mini heatsink on top to help it a bit? ATI Graphics Card good for Gaming? I'm about to build a well runnning yet low-cost computer. The graphics card I'm about to order is the Diamond Viper ATI Radeon HD 2600 PRO 512MB . The specs on this beast is amazing but I'm not so sure if it's good with gaming. But it handles Direct X10 so it should work great right?

I am close to buying this graphics card. ATI HD 3450, 512 meg. Will it interfere with the PCI slot below it? Directly below the PCI-E slot is a PCI slot I am using for my wireless adaptor. The heat-sink on the vid-card faces downward looks like it may come in contact.
