How can I view properties of my video cards and manage how my PC utilizes them? I just remembered that a while back I put a video card from my old PC in on my new PC, so now my desktop has two video cards, and they are both decent. But I want to see which one is better and control options to decide what video card handles which process. Both video cards have dual monitor capability, and right now I have both of my monitors on one card. Should I have them on two different video cards? Any help would be appreciated. I am using Windows XP Media Center edition
What video cards are compatible with the Soyo KT600 Plus Motherboard? I want to know if there's a slot for a video card before I open up my laptop and check. Can I even open up my laptop? I don't know, probably. Maybe. Answers?
How many video cards can you fit in a mid-tower case? Hi, I just bought the Antec 900 gaming computer case, and I am planning on purchasing the video cards next. How many dual layer video cards can I fit in the case? (GTX 200s) Video card recommendations are welcome. I know people usually go with the Full Tower for SLI, which I don't understand why, when they can do a 3-way SLI with a Mid tower.

This is for my video game production class, so I am trying to find tech information along those lines. Thanks. Okay i should re-phrase this a bit. It is for a 1 page essay for class.. I am not asking anyone to do the research. I am trying to ask what are the things I should be researching into. Thanks.

Video Cards for Sims 3: Do I need to use one that is mentioned or can I use a different card? I am looking for a new desktop but not finding ones with NVIDIA or Radeon video cards - I am finding similar ones included in the PC such as Nvidia GE foce 7100, but 7100 is not mentioned on the sims 3 site as supported . Does anyone know if ONLY the ones on the site will work, or might others such as the 7100 work?? Thanks! Well, I just used geforce 7100 as an example. I noticed a HP for sale that had it. I was looking on tigerdirect and newegg for pcs under $600,which is really my limit, and I could not find any with any of the "supported" video cards for the sims 3. That is why I wonder if other cards will work such as 7100. Is it that the higher number for geforce means a newer, more powerful carD? Oh, also it was not a 7100 gs. Just a 7100.
How do I stop my video cards from artifacting? I had the nerd guys over and they said my video cards are causing artifacting. What are some of the better video cards today? I don't know much about these sort of things, but I'm hoping to upgrade my PC at some point to run my games better. However, there seems to be so many these days, I'm not sure which would be best for my system or how many are "fully" compatible with the games I play. So which video cards are recommended for a Win XP in order to play games like WoW, The Sims 2 games, and the Battlefield 2 games smoothly? Also, are there any other upgrades I should consider? Thanks.
How do I find out if my motherboard supports dial video cards? I have a Dell XPS 410 but I don't have the manual anymore so I was wondering is anyone could point me in the direction to find out if my motherboard can support dual video cards. I really don't feel like unplugging the computer and opening it up to figure it out.
What kinds of video cards does Crytek have? Surely Crytek can run their own game Crysis at the highest settings possible with 60fps+ at a high resolution like 2560x1600 with some AA in order for them to think that regular computers will play them? What kind of video cards do Crytek use and where do they get them?
Is there anyplace I can see screenshots or videos of games running on different video cards? I'm shopping for a video card, and would like to see what games look like on various cards. Is there a site somewhere that compares graphics cards in this manner, or does everyone just post charts of framerates? I do realize that benchmarks are more important in the end than seeing a screenshot, but when a benchmark describes graphics as "low," "medium," and "high," it's hard to get a good idea of what that looks like. I still check 3dmark scores and framerate charts, I'd just like a glimpse of what that looks like when I'm playing the game.
Do video cards give out less performance when they get old? HI I have been playing lots of games on my Nvidia 8500GT.The games ran really smooth when 2-3 months had passed since I had bought the card. But after 5-6 months the games were running a little slower.I haven't changed my RAM or any other things.I think the problem is that my video card is getting old.So do video cards give out less performance when they get old???

Where can I find a seller of replacement video cards for laptops over 2 years old? The graphics card in an older Toshiba Satellite (5105-S501) has seemed to have died. I can't find any replacement video cards for sale. The original card is an nVidia Geforce 4 440 go. Can anyone direct me to someplace where I can find this card, a viable substitute, or any sites that may just help point me in the right direction? Thank you. Well, I was looking in the manual and this laptop does in fact have the GPU integrated into the Motherboard. But for future reference, there are laptops that the Graphics cards can be reached and replaced, like a desktop. My personal laptop does in fact.
Do graphic/video cards work together if i have two graphic cards? First of all, my computer if kinda old. It has a PCI slot (Not the new PCI-E or x16 ones) My motherboard already has this crappy video card built into it and i found these 2 empty PCI slots and i was hoping to get a new graphic card. If i get two graphic cards, will the performance be twice as good compared to only one?
How do you use multiple video cards? For example, is it possible to use a PCI video card in sequence with an AGP card? Is it possible to put two PCI express video cards in sequence with each other?
What video cards are compatible with my motherboard? This is my motherboard http://www.asrock.com/mb/overview.asp?Model=P4i45GV%20R5.0 What video cards are compatible with it? Can you install 2 video cards and use both there video RAM to get more video memory? Basically I want to connect 2 video cards to get more memory to run games better. I bought a computer for 20 bucks that was better than my old computer and just needed a hard drive. So I took my old hard drive out and put it in there. I also had a Radeon 9200 128MB in my old computer, which was better than the 64MB Radeon 7500 in the one i bought. So it came to my mind that maybe i can use a dual video card setup, not to have 2 monitors with the same display, but to use both there video RAM to have, in this case, 192MB of total video RAM. What do you guys think? Edas, I'm sure 1.8ghz and 512MB of RAM can run better games than Hearts and Solitare. Ok, I'm not trying to run the craziest games here and I'm not a hardcore gamer, but I gave it a thought and guess it won't workout with my motherboard. Just waiting for the day I have enough money to buy a killer laptop. Thanks for all your answers.
